Our ambition is to be the premier Commercial Drone Operator exclusive to Archaeology, Conservation and Heritage in the UK.
Archdrone was formed by a team of Archaeology Graduates while studying towards their Masters Degrees in Marine Archaeology and Conservation. The philosophy is simple: To make the benefits of recent drone technology more Accessible and Affordable to a variety of industries.
With the backing of our University Department we set out trying to understand what services were needed the most and how to provide those services as cost-effectively as we could.
We found that a large proportion of organisations need high-resolution Imagery and Film to monitor or survey their project or location, to access hard-to-reach areas such as Coastlines, Marshland Woodland, and to collect images and film for Website & TV Marketing, Research or Environmental Campaigning & Lobbying.
On top of our production and imaging services we found that some clients require 3D Mapping and Photomosaic services to help provide invaluable information to their project. With these requirements in mind we formed Archdrone to assist you in Managing, Understanding, Promoting and Protecting your Archaeological or Environmental project anywhere in the UK.
We have proudly worked with Students and Graduates working on their projects, University Departments and Archaeological Organisations, Terrestrial and Marine Conservation and Wildlife Research Organisations, and TV Production Firms across the UK.
We are licensed and regulated by the Civil Aviation Authority [License number UAV4352] and are able to travel anywhere in the UK and abroad to research and survey a variety of environments.
